Owls see perfectly good in daylight and 10 to 100 times better than humans in dim light. Their eyes are set in front of their skull. Forward-facing eyes give the owl two overlapping fields of vision and greater depth perception. An owls' eyes are fixed, they can not move in their sockets. The owl must turn its entire head to see on either side. They can rotate their head up to 270 degrees in either direction.
