Where you can learn about Owls!
Most owls are nocturnal, and a few are crepuscular which means they are active during the dim hours of dawn and dusk or on overcast days. By day nocturnal owls perch or roost where they can't be
seen. As dusk settles, owls move out from the deep woods or secluded areas where they have spent the day hiding. They fly to an edge overlooking a good feeding site. This is often at last light. Humans can barely see then. Then the owl starts hunting. They do not move at all. The owls' head is continuously turning as it watches and listens for prey.
